PRINCETON CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY KITCHEN
ABREVATED MEAL SERVICE
MARCH - 2020
By now, all of you have heard about the coronavirus and may be wondering how it will affect PCCK. Here is our plan:
* We follow the Princeton school system regarding weather closings and will continue to take their lead in this situation. They have announced they will be moving forward with the implementation of remote learning beginning Monday, March 16 and extending initially through Friday, March 27. During this time period, students will be learning from home with virtual support from their teachers. Following this two-week period, they will re-evaluate the continued implementation of remote learning based on guidance from public health officials. As a result, we are closing our dining area for Wednesday, March 18th and 25th.
* We will continue to provide take-out meals which can be picked up at the door where guests normally enter the dining area. Our hours will still be the same (Wed 5:00 - 6:30pm). If we have sandwiches, milk, etc., we will package and distribute in addition to the meal.
* All other services provided by Cornerstone will be temporarily suspended: Clothing Store, Grocery Area, ESL classes, Hair Salon, nursing services, etc. If you have signed up as a volunteer, we appreciate your service, but it won’t be needed until we resume “normal” operations,
We are committed to serving the needs of the Princeton community and ask your patience and understanding as we deal with this situation as best we can.
